The KR808D-1 is unique in our range in that the atomizers and cartridges are built in which leads to some people calling them 'Cartomizers'. These have been designed with a larger capacity cartridge that should last between 6 and 10 cigarettes. Once the cartomizer portion has been used, it can be disposed of and replaced. Alternatively, the cartridge can be refilled with customers using this method reporting that the cartomizer can be replaced up to 6 times, after which time performance degrades.
We believe that cartomizers are very useful, especially in the following situations :
- New users - Cartomizers are very easy to use. The batteries are rechargable and when a cartomizer runs out, rechargeablesimply plug in another.
- As a traveling device - Dripping or topping up a regular e-cig whilst driving is really not recommended. Cartomizer last longer and can be replaced quickly.
- The constant performance of a fresh atomizers - atomizers do degrade over time, some quicker than others. The cartomizer ensures the constant performance of a fresh atomizer.

Combine the best mass produced e-cigarette batteries with a disposable atomizer and cartridge combined and you have the KR808D-1. The stock battery for the device has over 50% more capacity than most standard e-cigs stock configuration; the auto version has a very reliable pressure switch and the manual version gives you full control. Initially, the cartomizer was designed to be thrown away after one using but users are finding they can be refilled up to 6 times. The cartridge and atomizer are combined in to one unit that can be refilled but this does require a bit of expertise as it is not as straight forward as refilling a DSE 901 cartridge. Overall, a very easy, dependable device that is ideal for new users or users not wanting too much fuss with atomizers and cartridges. Long term running without refilling the cartridges will be more expensive than some of the other devices but still less than traditional smoking. Highly recommended.
